Family and group Fast Track at Suvarnabhumi Airport

This is the service-and-booking side for groups: how per-passenger pricing works, what to tell the team, and how the escort supports young children, elderly travellers and larger parties — from ฿2,700 (~$81) per passenger.

General terminal advice for families lives in the family and accessibility guide, linked at the end of this page.

Plan a BKK family journey around distance and regrouping

Families should allow for lifts, pushchairs, slower walking and a possible SAT-1 APM journey. Listing every child and mobility need lets the service team plan a realistic meeting and escort pace.

01

Main Terminal sequence

International check-in is on Level 4 and the public arrivals hall is on Level 2. Live airline and airport displays remain the final source for the counter, gate and baggage belt.

02

SAT-1 is a separate gate journey

Passengers assigned SAT-1 use the automated people mover after the required Main Terminal formalities. SAT-1 arrivals return to the Main Terminal route for passport control, baggage and customs.

03

Ground transport has its own levels

The Airport Rail Link station is on Level B1 and the official public-taxi queue is on Level 1. A Fast Track booking does not include transport unless a separate transfer add-on is confirmed.

04

Priority handling has limits

Official BKK Fast Track includes a personal escort and uses eligible priority facilities when open and authorised. Airport operations and government authorities retain control, so no fixed completion time is guaranteed.

How group pricing works

Adults (12+)
฿2,700 (~$81) per person, per service
Children 5–11
฿2,700 (~$81) per person — the same rate as adults
Children under 5
Up to two free per paying adult; each additional child is ฿2,700 (~$81)
Larger groups
Pricing scales linearly per passenger — no group surcharge. Everyone travels on one booking with a single coordinator.
Worked example
One adult + two children under 5, arrival service = ฿2,700 (~$81) (both children travel free).

How each group is looked after

Young children and pushchairs
The escort walks at the children’s pace, routes past lifts and keeps a regrouping point. Pushchairs and bassinet baggage travel under the airline’s rules — confirm gate-use or check-in handling with the airline first.
Elderly travellers
A slower pace with pauses whenever needed, plus the optional electric buggy at +฿1,500 (~$45) per paying passenger on eligible routes. If a wheelchair is required, arrange it with the airline in advance — our escort works alongside that service.
Larger groups
Book everyone in one request with complete documents. The team confirms staff availability for the group size before the booking is confirmed, and sets a clear regrouping point.

What to tell the team when booking

  • The age of every child, so the two-free-under-5-per-adult policy is applied correctly
  • Any pushchairs, wheelchairs or mobility equipment travelling with you
  • Roughly how many bags you have, and any assistance already requested from the airline
  • Connection details or a pre-booked transfer, if any
  • The contact channel you answer fastest on travel day (email or WhatsApp)

Distances to plan for at BKK

The Suvarnabhumi Main Terminal is large, and some journeys include the APM train to or from SAT-1. Build in time for lifts, toilets and regrouping. The family and accessibility guide covers the informational side in detail.

Family and group questions

Is Fast Track free for children?

Children aged 5–11 pay the same ฿2,700 (~$81) rate as adults. Up to two children under 5 are free per paying adult; additional children pay the full rate and every child must still be listed.

Can we bring a pushchair?

Yes. Pushchairs travel under the airline’s baggage rules — confirm gate-use or check-in handling with the airline, and mention it in the booking notes so the escort plans a lift-friendly route.

Can one booking cover a large group?

Yes. List every passenger with their documents in one booking. The team verifies staff availability for the group size before confirming.
